  • 107 days of field guiding

  • 38 trips had a specific goal (peak or route) in mind. Of those, we made the summit or completed the route 33 times. That's a "sending percentage" of 87%.

  • 32 days of Alpine guiding

  • 5 days of Ice guiding

  • 25 days of Rock guiding

  • 45 days of ski guiding. Notably, for the first time since 2008, I did not teach a single avalanche course in 2020. Past years all include at least a few days of ski guiding that was actually on an avalanche course.

  • 98 days as an employee of another company

  • 9 days working for my own company

  • 87 days were with returning clients or clients that came directly to me in some fashion.

  • 96 days I worked in the field largely or entirely without a co guide

  • 11 days I worked directly with at least one other co guide

  • 13 nights in a tent in the wilderness

  • 35 nights away from home in other accommodations, for work
